OK here goes. I have download 204 albums (2092 songs) from my laptop on to a USB memory stick. I then put the stick into the PS3. What i then want to do is play all of the music on 'Shuffle'.

However, no matter how much I shuffle the music when I Sync it from the Laptop to the memory stick, the memory stick automatically places each song into an individual folder relating to who the album is by. Therefore when I put into the PS3 it will not display every single song on one screen so that I can play them at random.

E.G: click on USB Device (on Playstation), then Music, then it just gives me a list of all the albums. But I want it to display every song on the USB stick.

Please help someone as its driving me bananas.

Instead of using iTunes or WMP or whatever to put it on the memory stick, just grab all the songs (using Windows Explorer) and drag and drop them into a single folder on the memory stick.

Can you give me a step by step?
Open Windows Explorer
Navigate to the folder(s) where you store your music files
Open Windows Explorer again
Navigate to your memory stick (which will appear as a disk drive)
Create a folder called (eg) Music
Double click the Music folder to open it.
Go back to the first copy of explorer
Click on a music file, hold down Ctrl and click on any other music files that you want.
Click and hold the mouse button down on any one of the highlighted files.
Keeping the mouse button down, drag the mouse to the second copy of explorer which is displaying your empty Music folder
Release the mouse button and the files will be copied.

Thanks Rojash. It's looking good so far (about 50 minutes left). I think maybe what was wrong before is that I was trying to 'sync' to the memory stick in WMP, and as a result it was creating subfolders as each album rather than transferring individual songs. We will see in a while so thanks for your advice........
