So the BMA says that government meddling is NHS problem

What other proof is needed. Even the BMA says that the root cause of the NHS problem is this government and its meddling it useless reforms and management consultants. Blair face it, you were wrong on all counts. Go now!!!

The "NHS problem" seems a little exagerated - particularly by people who seem to want to create a huge crisis and lay it at the governments door.


The current defecit is less than 1% of the NHS's budget!


Could you manage a budget as huge as that and bring it in at less than 1% from target?

The BMA have a vested interest. Consultants like long waiting lists because they can then have lucrative private practices. Despite what some newspapers say waiting times have come right down and fewere people are using private health services, and this has hit the pockets of consultants (who are already overpaid by the NHS).
