What is the highest winning margin in a Ryder cup singles game?
Could it be 10-and-8? (although I don't understand what this means!)

10 and 8 means 10 up with 8 to play, ie 10-0 in matchplay so even if the opponent wins that last 8 holes he'll still lose 10-8. It's possible but in the ryder cup I don't think it has happenned. The largest wining margin was 8 and 7 in both 1989 and 1997 when Tom kite beat Howard Clark and Fred Couples beat Ian Woosnam respectively.
