Ronnie O'Sullivan - Good or Bad for the Game?

Yesterday in Glasgow O'Sullivan made a maximum 147 break which should be a feat to celebrate. He was, however, either very disrespectful to the game or being 'entertaining', depending on your outlook.
After his opponent left the reds beautifully spread he potted his first red & black and turned to the referee to ask what the prize money was for a maximum break. Very cocksure but enjoyed by the audience. He was advised it was £4000 and not the £147000 on offer at the world championships.
He proceded to pot all the reds and colours to the final black whereupon he offered his hand to his opponent to signal the end of the frame - and on a score of 140. It was only after the referee & the audience implored him to pot the final ball that he did so with scarcely concealed contempt for the mere £4000!

An absolutely fantastic break completely spoiled, in my view, by his arrogance. Does he bring the game into disrepute by his actions?

Games finished anyway, it just doesn't know its dead.
Yes Graudian.

Ronnie O'Sullivan has a fantastic and unmatched natural talent but he lets himself down so much on a personal level. Unlike most players, Ronnie obviously has little respect for his opponents, the audience, or the millions watching at home. It boils down to the fact Ronnie obviously has no respect for himself. OK, Ronnie has his problems, but so do other players. However, most other players are professional enough to behave in public with some decorum and finesse. Unfortunately, the word 'professional' just can't be applied to the way Ronnie O'Sullivan behaves.

At least we don't have to listen any more to Ronnie wittering on about his father being in jail for murder. I think the BBC asked him to stop that.
How is it possible to bring snooker into disrepute? When I was a child my mother warned me that if I was ever seen on the back of a motorbike or in a snooker hall I would be barred from the parental home.
The television coverage is what keeps it going .If they stop covering it then it will be finished .Like so many RoS thinks he is above the game ..The longer the media run after him the more of an annoyance he will be .He seems to forget that snooker gave him most of what he has in life so he should be at least grateful .The primary school antics did not do him any favours .
would have felt sorry for the punters out there who had a bet on a 147 in the tournament if he had not potted the final black but then again ronnie doesnt giva toss about anything does he?? personally i cant stand him myself
