Hiya Molly :)
You'd better ask someone like waterboatman molly, he doesn't come on here usually after about 9am.

boxtops, it might just be my frazzled brain but the last part of your sentence didn't make sense to me. . . .are you saying he comes on early in the morning?
Yes - he's on the early bird thread about 6.30am onwards, most mornings, and has left by 9 a.m.
Question Author
aahhhh ok, we have to be 50mmiles away by 9am tomorow to do the test so I probably won't get chance to ask him?
To be honest molly, he might not know anyway, but he has a boat and sails the canals - it's not often someone mentions watersports on here so I thought it was worth a try. Hey ho, you will soon know for yourself, good luck with it!

thanks.

I got my level 2 . . . . :D
Well done! does that mean you can hurl about the seas single-handed now (in a responsible manner, of course) :-P
Question Author
I can parallel park a boat, how does the difficulty compare to parallel parking a car?

In a boat the controls are less accurate and currents can help or hinder you, but in the boats I drive, it doesn't matter if you slightly bump the jetty or neighbouring boat - they all have fenders to protect them.
