Seeing as the semis were out of 11, I thought that the final couldn't possibly be the 35, or so, of old, but couldn't find anywhere that said quite what it was.

My lad and his girlfriend have tickets and will be at Wembley watching the final and he's not long since rung me to see if I knew and then they can work out their schedule around it.

Apologies, where are my manners ?

Thankyou very much for replying.

It's best of nineteen frames and the play starts at 2 o'clock and 8 o'clock. They normally do it so that there is a least one frame played in the second session so that should mean nine frames in the first and ten in the second.

He wants to be able to plan 'eating' between the sessions and then the journey home afterwards.

I've told him that a 2/3a.m. finish was not unusual in the 'old days', but there is only so much a mummy can do...............:o)
It is 8 frames in the afternoon and 11 in the evening.

Aaargh ! I've done it again.........

Thankyou for your help, everyone :o)
Why was my 2nd answer removed? I didn't say anything bad.
perhaps because this is a Q&P site and you did not answer the question? Your first answer also should have been removed in my opinion.

No idea, ummmm.
Nothing to do with me. ;o)
Kakuro1 - ummmm is welcome to contribute to my thread, and possibly was prompted to respond because my name is familiar to her. She might not have responded were it another user..............so in the spirit of friendliness 'butt out'. Thank you.
I wouldn't have answered if it wasn't you Jack.

He was sitting next to me...I asked him....and that was his exact reply. I thought it was quite amusing.

I also think Jack would have known that I thought that :-)
What a silly response that is. Ummm failed to give an answer, so it is right that their answer be removed. Just as it is right that all repsonses that fail to answer the question are removed, especially first responses, making others think that the question may have been answered,
What do you mean 'this is a Q&P site' ???
Snooker ... now there's an interesting TV sport.

I could watch it all da

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I did give an answer. As Jack will understand...I asked my BF and typed his answer. She already knows he's a pleb :-)
Yes, you gave an answer that you had not checked. What good was that? Is that really the way you respond to questions - giving wrong or unchecked answers?
Yes.....as Jack, as she has stated, will understand my answer. If it was someone I didn't 'AB' know then I would have never answered.

Lighten up eh?
