Now that the dust has settled a bit abd now that F.I.F.A have decreed no replay.
Would it not be seen as fair to ban Henry from the world cup?
Punish the player not the team.

He clearly cheated, he clearly fouled the ball, the goal's stood, the game's over, the result will not be overturned.
If there is no rule to ban a player for this action then one should be put in place.
I feel the F.A.I should look for a fight it can win, it's howling at the moon if it thinks it can get a replay.
Quite honestly everton if Domanech didn't put him in the World Cup squad he'd be considered a hero by the French and doing his sentence by others; but unfotunately Domanech doesn't have that intelligence....
They'd guillotine Domanech if he didn't take him
No.

If the match officials had penalised France at the time then there would be no problem. The fact that they didn't does not make Henri's handball any worse, therefore banning him from World Cup would be because of the match officials error and not the player's.

Ban the officials in question, absolutely, but not Henri.
Why not ban France for the foul, after all a ref should have given the free kick to Ireland.
