I have two PC's PC1 connects to the internet via a usb ethernet adapter. PC2 is connected directly to PC1 via a crossover cable into the built in ethernet cards. I can share printer resources and view shared folders on both PC's but I need to know how to use the internet on pc2 using pc1's broadband connection. both pc's are running xp. Hope this makes sense and happy New Year to you all.

You can use the built in "internet connection sharing". If you search for this in the Windows XP help it will come up with a tutorial that is easy to follow.
