I love IE 7 its awesome......got a gr8 tabing system rather then opening diff. IE at the same time.

and its got this cool feature that makes the words sharper and less hazy, its got a thumbs up from me, go to http://www.microsoft.com to download the new version

Warning to anyone that has got Hacked XP dont bother it validates your Serial Number, as there are a list of Blacklisted Serials that have been circulating around the net for years, and if you have a hacked copy the chance are you will have a blacklisted Serial No.

Or you could just try FireFox.
I think going on experience from the betas it'll be about 20 minutes before somebody finds a security hole in it and your machine is full of spyware!

Still I guess everybody has to have a hoby!

But seriously why on earth would Microsoft want to enforce serial numbers in IE 7 ?

They are actually forcing people to use Firefox over IE!
Ie7 is still far behind safarai, firefox and opera in terms of standards support. very annoying for web developers.

you talk about these cool tabs: opera and firefox have had these for a lifetime.

Oh, and on the very first day it was released, a security flaw was found:

Nice going Microsoft.

Stop using the heap of crap that is IE7 and start using firefox.
Question Author
Plz explain to me.......I have used IE and its the only thing I have used,

whats the difference between IE and the others???

Excluding all these security holes and stuff, do they run faster??? plz tell me then Ill change.

Many Thanks
Talking about the speed a browser runs is a bit daft, as in most circumstances the major factor in the apparent speed is the speed of your connection. IE they'll all appear to run at pretty much the same speed.

Firefox is an independent development, done by a shareware group. They have nothing to do with MS, and so FF is designed very differently to IE, from the ground up. This is a big factor in its resistance to malware. It's a free download - try it - firefox.com.

As mentioned above, its features are usually years ahead of IE's. And bug fixes are done faster than MS.
Alternatively go here - http://www.ie7.com/
HOW I LAUGHED!
That IS funny. I bet MS don't like that!
I bet they don't - someone sent it a few weeks ago and here in the office we laughed like drains I tell you - especially as the Corporate browser is IE and that is what ALL the users have, but here in the IT dept we all use FF. HA! What's good for the goose is NOT good for the gander I feel.
Hapus, you say that your companies corporate browser is IE.

Have you shown them this (it is a couple of years old)

Oh we know all too well its "weaknesses", but we are mere minions. But minions with FireFox!
In a nutshell Graham, the difference between firefox and IE is that IE opens ALL web pages and Firefox doesn't. That's all that matters really!!
graham: firefox is free software. this means anyone can have a look at the source and change it if they want. you can improve it. you don't need to wait for microsoft to do something. if there's a bug, it'll get fixed a lot faster.

in web development, there are a set of standards that most people (good developers, anyway) design their web pages to, so that the page looks the same regardless of which browser or type of computer you use. firefox and opera are two browsers that follow these standards very closely. IE is known as being pretty terrible for doing this. IE6 isn't that great at all, so since it's been 5 years since IE6 was released, you may expect IE7 to be better at it. it still doesn't support some standards that were released back in 2001 though. not exactly great. this is where caminiour's comment comes in: some people still design pages for IE, and so they don't work properly elsewhere. these pages are reducing in numbers all the time though.

with firefox, you can customise everything. you can remove buttons you don't want to see. it has a great popup blocker. it even has extensions, so you can add special tools that you want to use. one of my favourites is an advert blocker, so i don't see adverts on web pages.

firefox does load pages faster. it's also much faster at rendering so-called ajax calls (it's a terrible name) -- these are things like google maps' browser, and gmail.
camounier add this to firefox & all the other benefits mentioned elsewhere then eveybody's happy https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/35/
Told you so!
