If not all out by 12.30, England ought to declare. We've got enough IMHO and I'd like to see the tourists face a difficult 20 minute spell before lunch.
C'mon Cooky, take a chance!
No! no!...320 would be perfect.
We've got plenty. Cook is doing what Strauss did too often, getting too many to definitely ensure the draw when we could have been backing ourselves and going for the win.
We've retained the Ashes anyway, let's go for it!
Not sure I'd agree, the runs are flowing and with a full five sessions left after lunch that should be plenty of time to bowl the Aussies out, or lose. Bat on at least until lunch, think of a declaration then.
5 sessions? Have I missed a day? Did we start Friday, or Thursday?
Today is day 4, so yes it started on Friday.

Might end up all out by 12.30 anyway, as Bresnan goes for 45. England 318/9.
Bres gone and Swann has a hoik, sky's it and Smith drops the dolly to massive cheers.
Ah, thought we'd started on Thursday. Was thrown because even the commentators on the BBC thread are speculating that we may have too many, implying we've possibly batted too long.
If it's only day 4 then yes, bat on.
All out, 299 to win for Clarke and Co.
See? Told you!

Nice work by Bresnan, Broad and Swann to keep the tail wagging and add 80 runs for the final wickets.

I am nervous...very very nervous...we needed 320.

Off to my Club now.
See? Told you! LOL
We need them to face a tricky 20 minutes before lunch, my wish is granted!
I want to see some chin music too, been far too lacking throughout the series from the England bowlers.
England lose a review early...

Earlier in the series it was the Aussies who were getting the review calls hopelessly wrong -- tables have turned somewhat.
Tame again, why are there no bouncers to greet the openers? Show them we mean business.
Presently persisting down in Durham, delayed start after lunch but Aggers at TMS reckons it'll pass quickly.
Australia having a good start, going at 4 an over to reach 60/0 after 15 overs. Rogers survived earlier, a review overturning a shout for caught behind, and there was a half-chance missed shortly afterwards.
How to waste a new ball.......just watch the England seamers.
Rogers and Warner looking very comfortable out there for now
century partnership up..

..hmm
There's a breakthrough! Rogers goes for 49.
