Question Author
Legs and tail. They were very cute.
Where did you go to see a mouse race, Giveup? I've heard of snail racing but not mouse racing.
Yes, I like mice as well. I've rescued many from the jaws of death!
They can move pretty sharpish can mice- be over in seconds wouldn't it?
Lol! Mouse racing? Seriously?

Where on earth was that? It sounds like it could be a bit of a laugh.
were any of them 'put down' after being injured ?

It was a charity evening for our local football club. They have almost a huge bookcase with a glass front and numbered tracks. There was a tote and people sponsored each mouse. In one race ours got to the end and then turned round and went back to the beginning. It really was a fun evening.
I was imagining little mice, with dressing gowns on, jumping up and down on the start line, getting ready to do a three mile race.

Bookshelf kinda ruined it for me....

Good it was for charity though! :-)
No jockeys?
Question Author
None were put down but at one stage the bar steward had to remove a cat that was wandering around looking hopeful. There were loads of mice in cages ready and they got a bit whiffy, but what fun. We did'nt really want to go but so glad we did.
