Which 'young people' are saying he was or is their 'role model'?

I doubt this is the first or last time a 14 year old girl decides to have sex with a 26 year old man. I think it's de rigueur in more traditional parts of the United States of America.
not a role model, and not a nice bloke if he can behave that way,
I understand it that the judge assumed him to be a role model because of his participation in the Olympics opening ceremony. Must admit at first I thought the sentence of 5 years was excessive but reading his previous I'm now in two minds. What do others think?
I expect you're right prudie

rather a sloppy assumption mind

and judges aren't regarded as reliable sources of who is or isn't a role model for 'young people'

I take it this judge realised nathan's skates had nothing to do with Black Butter and Capers
The judge didn't say the defendant was a role model. He said "You have, through your roller skating, the opportunity to be a role model".
