Thanks jomifl. You're right, it feels like its been going on all year.

No not three weeks - 16 days if you count the days of competition following the Opening ceremony

It may surprise you to know there is an Olympic Web site (who would have thought it)

Try searching on London 2012

But then the Paralympics start a couple of days later for 11 days. All finish 11 September
