On Monday I have a delivery to make, to the Criterion theatre in central London at 08:00 am. After that I have to kill time until 16:00 when I have to pick up the delivery again. What I need are some suggestions as to what I could do for the time in between. Ideally I need something that would include parking for a large van and something that would require the the spending of very little money. All suggestions will be given consideration.

central, and know that area pretty well, i did understand.....
Natural History Museum and Imperial War Museum are pretty close together, the V & A is nearby too.
Phil, crafty needs to be central, so that's why suggested the Brunswick centre for parking, as he can walk to the BM from there.
natural history and V&A, but Imperial War Museum is nowhere near, it's over by Lambeth.

Brunswick centre is it an open air car park?
Fairy muff em. From what I recalled the IWM was a short 5 min bus ride from the NHM though.
Question Author
Just Googled the Brunswick Centre for parking, it's no good, they have a height restriction to 1.8m for vehicles. The van I will be driving is 2.8m.
ok, let me have another think, or google car parking in bloomsbury, as that is where the British Museum is. Our local parking bays are very expensive, not sure how much as don't use them, but know that you can't park up for the length of time you need as far as i know.
couldn't remember offhand but the theatre is in piccadilly, so better to park perhaps near chinatown, there are NCP car parking i believe. Because it's some distance from British Museum, you would have a fair walk to get there.
not sure can suggest anything else, and if you do park up this way, walk through to covent garden, it's closer than British Museum and lot of shops, cafe's etc.
