There are 3 times as many Yellow Balls as Blue Balls
There are 4 times as many Green Balls as Blue Balls
And there are Twice as many Green Balls as Yellow Balls
How many Yellow Balls are ther in the Box?

As stated, the question is wrong ...

1) Y = 3B,
2) G = 4B,
3) G = 2Y.

Therefore, from 2) and 3), 2Y = 4B, so Y = 2B.

This contradicts 1).
Beat me to it! The question is wrong.
Actually, it might be worse than wrong. Always, when given such a problem one checks it's reasonable before wasting one's time on it.

In this question, the bleeding obvious make one smell a rat - there are 4 equations yet only 3 unknowns

I suspect it's not just a simple typo.

I apologise now - if I'm wrong.

The last part of the question should read twice as many red balls as Yellow
Yes that makes sense now.

There are 12 yellow balls.

There are also 4 blue balls, 16 green balls and 24 red balls.
