I was going to put this up as 'Stealing Money 31' but, even though the bet has a really good chance of obliging, there are too many ponderables (i.e. the other horses!) for it to be classed in the same category as the previous 30.

Frankie has 5 rides at today's Royal meeting and all can be found within the first 3 in the betting - indeed, at the time of typing, 2 are favs - and all stand a good chance of a visit to the winner's enclosure..
We are all aware of Frankie's performances at this track and it would be no surprise whatsoever were we to witness one of his flying dismounts.
Willy Hill go EVENS (to a £10 max stake) that he rides at least one winner on the first day of the festival.
I've had a dabble:-)
Question Author
Must've been half asleep last night when i was looking at the card for today's Ascot meeting - Frankie actually has 6 rides! The one i missed was the Willie Mullins '2nd string' Absurde in the 6.10. Doesn't alter the fact that all his rides are in the first 3 in the betting.
Question Author
Despite the fact i have saved 6 x £5 free bets with Sky, i don't particularly fancy any of today's selections enough to part with any of them:-)

I do think Frankie has a good chance of a winner or two, today, so i've put his 3 least likely (according to the bookies, that is) in a R Robin, e.w. treble for a poss return of £484;

3.05; Givemethebeatboys @ 6/1 - 4 places
5.35; Saga @ 5/1 - 4 places
6.10; Absurde @ 13/2 - 5 places

I have also done a small stakes set of e.w. trebles and 4folds, plus a £1 e.w. acca on 5 of his rides (i had missed Absurde) which could realise £3,569, though the £18 for places would cover the bet with a bit of profit.

Away from Ascot;

3.30 Thirsk; Cliffcake @ 7/1 - 4 places
4.45 Thirsk; Mereside Angel @ 7/2 - 4 places
5.10 Strat; Pleasure Garden @ 5/1

Patent and e.w. Treble for a poss £519.

ITV7; Modern Games, Givemethebeatboys, Highfield Princess, Paddington, Bring On The Night, Chaldean and Vauban. £1 e.w. acca.

As you can see, i haven't put all of Frankie's rides in the ITV7 - that would be foolish, wouldn't it. Wouldn't it? :-))

Best of luck, all.
Question Author
Hit the crossbar, beaten a neck by a 33/1 outsider.

5 more chances:-)
Me and partner have number one and two,and number six and seven reverse forecasts in all the races. Not looking good so far.Bah.
Question Author
6 & 7 non runners in that 2nd race so at least you get a rebate:-)

6 is a n/r in the next - Manaccan, one of Frankie's rides, so that's one less chance:-(
Question Author
Placed on all bar one of his rides but no winner. And the one he failed to place on came 5th when the bookies were paying 4 places. C'est a vie. There's always tomorrow.................
Question Author
Once again the Royal meeting provides all 7 races for the ITV7 and, once again, WH are offering evens on Frankie riding at least one winner.
He has just the 4 rides today and his best chance of riding a winner has to be the favourite, Gregory, in the 5.35. I wouldn't discount him winning on any of his other 3, but, imho, they are more e.w. punts, and on that score, i won't be taking up WH's offer.
What i may well do is to throw a tenner at Gregory @ 7/4, and do his other 3 in an e.w. Trixie.
Didn't even get chance to look at the card yesterday Ken. Was on the road at 7.30am. On the M56 & M57 to Aintree Hospital. The road conditions were horrendous. Monsoon like rain and the sky was almost black. Pre op checks and tests took all day almost. All good ... just going back in for a little op to make walking good distances easier. Just gonna have a look at the card with a cuppa.
On handy again so that I can get out and about.
ITV& split into 2 punts. ****E/W Acca, Doubles, Trebles. ###Win Trixie. Good luck to all.

Got To Love A Grey @17/2 2.30*
Tarrabb @13/2 3.05#
Grande Dame @5/1 3.40#
Luxembourg @7/4 4.20#
Reach For The Moon @14/1 5.00
Circle Of Fire @8/1 3.35*
Fusterlandia @50/1 6.10*
Question Author
Glad to hear all was ok, Togo. You were very conspicuous by your absence, yesterday. Good luck with today's selections. I'll mull it over during dinner:-)

Having had a really good look at today's stats, i believe Frankie has two 'live chances' so i may take that evens off WH.

Some big fields today and, though i rely heavily on stats, it may turn out that i would've been better off using a 'lucky pin' :-)

2.30; Got To Love A Grey @ 10/1 - 6 places
3.05; Lady Eros @ 8/1 - 7 places
5.00; Perotto @ 8/1 - 8 places
6.10; World Of Darcy @ 9/1 - 5 places

The usual win singles and 20p L15, but i've used one of my £5 free bets for the rach way component, so it becomes a £2.50 e.w. acca. 4 placed = £88, 4 winners = £14,920.

Couple of e.w. singles in; Don't Tell Claire 3.05 @ 16/1 and Jimi Hendrix 5.00 @ 22/1.

ITV7; above qualifiers, plus; Prosperous Voyage, My Prospero and Gegory. Taken My Prospero out of the bet (not enough runners) and done the e.w. sixfold.

Now for the rest of the racing, e.w.
Question Author
The "I'll mull it over during dinner" was added - but in the wrong place. It should have come after "...i may take that evens off WH."
I have.
Question Author
Ya can't keep a good man down for long. Take a flying dismount, Frankie.

£10 on @ 7/4 with 365
£10 on @ 1/1 with WH

Thought Don't Tell Claire was going to do it, bit could only manage 2nd - a few quid back.

But Jimi Hendrix did the business @ 22/1, so more than a few quid back off that one.

Also managed to bag the Worcester Placepot (£41) (including 2 winners in a Worcester Trixie - Dindin @ 10s and Hiconic @ 4s (Never No Trouble let the bet down finishing 2nd)) so it's not been a bad day at all
Question Author
The ITV7 stays at the Royal meeting and today's pot is £150,000. ALL you have to do is........................:-)

Hope you see this before placing your bets, Togo;

Willy Hill special; Any horse, any race - double the price.

If you don't see this before you part with your readies, don't worry, the offer is 'on' for 3 days - though it can only be used once throughout those 3 days.
It looks much easier today doesn't it? :(( No Account with WH Ken and I don't really need another, but thanks for the heads up. Must pop in and tell my pal who is manager of a local branch. He will be hacked off about that, being constantly hassled to increase the shop footfall, whilst HQ are playing the middle meets both ends game. On handy anf off out again. Done the ITV7 and again two bets from the runners. **** E/W Acca, Win Doubles and Trebles. ###E/W Trixie. Good luck everybody.

American Rascal @4/1 2.30*
Perfuse @6/1 3.05*
Warm Heart @15/2 3.40*
Trueshan @16/1 4.20#
Carracci @18/1 5.00#
Caernarfon @15/2 5.35*
Rhoscolyn @11/1 6.10#
Question Author
Bet of luck with those, Togo, particularly the first 2:-) Forgot to mention, in case anyone else is looking in at the WH special, max stake is a fiver.

3.05; Perfuse @ 11/2 - 6 places
5.00; Saxon King @ 14/1
5.35; Bold Act @ 11/1 - 5 places
6.10; Biggles @ 8/1 - 7 places (WH special @ 13/1)

Win singles, 20p L15, £1 e.w. acca. 4 placed = £56, 4 winners = £9,728.

Free £5 bet - £2.50 e.w. on Malc @ 33/1 in the 2.30
Also done e.w. bets on, Lmay @ 40/1, Ramazan @ 40/1 and Ropey Guest @ 20/1.

ITV7, L15 selections, plus; American Rascal (£2 win), Al Asifah (omitted from e.w. acca) and Eldar Eldarov (£2 win). £1 e.w. sixfold.

Good luck, all

Question Author
Ward's nag never mentioned in the opener. Thought my e.w. punt was going to oblige, but just couldn't peg the winner back. Still, a few quid back to start the day:-)
Question Author
Apart from 4 placed in an e.w. acca at Chelmsford (£18.25 back) (including just the one winner Paradise Row), that early e.w. success was as good as it got.

Mind you, with a 150/1 rag winning the first race at Ascot, and a 50/1 rag winning the last, i'm most likely not on my own:-)
Question Author
£200K up for grabs today but in order to win, you need your crystal ball well and truly polished and charged to the max. The first race is the 17 runner Albany Stakes for 2 year olds who, obviously, have not clocked up many miles between them. The strongest stat available for this race is that the last 11 winners had all won lto, but that only takes 5 out of the race. Where's me slide rule..................
Question Author
I was going to use one of my free £5 bets on an e.w. punt on Fahey's Pretty Crystal in the opener, but they're not offering extra places, so i've had a smaller e.w. punt on it @ 25s.
I have used the free bet on an e.w punt on Walbank @ 22/1 in the last.

2.30; Jabaara @ 15/2
3.40; HMS President @ 9/1 - 6 places
5.00; Marksman Queen @ 10/1 - 8 places
6.10; Radio Goo Goo @ 16/1 - 6 places

Win/e.w. singles, 20p Lucky 15, £1 e.w. acca. 4 placed = £56, 4 winners = £12,347.

ITV7; Above 4 qualifiers, plus; Little Big Bear, Tahiyra and King Of Steel. £1 e.w. acca.

I wonder, given his minimum riding weight is 9.6, if Frankie could easily do the weight, would he have chosen to ride Marksman Queen as opposed to Coppice in the 5.00? Done the Rev f/c:-)

Best of luck all.
