Earlier than usual start this week to the ITV7 with the first leg coming from Kelso at 1.35. Another race from Kelso, 2 from Kempton and 3 from Donny make up the rest. Had a very quick glanced to see a few handicaps within the 7 races, though not many big fields.

Strewth the Lincoln is on today. Be more like Derby day if the weather up there is like ours. I have seen it run with snow on the ground.

I really used to look forward to the flat season, Togo, often travelling across to Donny for the 3 day meeting, backing nearly all of Jack Berry's sprinters. Now it's diluted to just the one day.
Tried to persuade my son that it's a nice day to be at the racetrack but his wife has said it's also a nice day to take her and the kids to the seaside or a park. He has chosen to side with her because he likes sex:-(

Strange trying to get a handle on flat races again. No heroics today, and hope for a better Flat season than the N.H. one has been thus far.

Well that was a waste of effort. Good job I had a saver on Potterman(got to haven't I). I nearly missed it too. Was out back starting the potting up process by building the cold frame/mini greenhouse. It was late off or I would have missed out. £2 win eases the pain of the others.

Only just seen this Togo. I stood to be just over £60 down on the day - horses and football - but a £5 win on England to win, Kane anytime scorer and over 9 corners @ 7/1 (Willy Hill) definitely eased the pain i would have felt.
