well that worked well !!!
Oh no! Last time I looked they were 42-4. They can't lose to Afghanistan, surely? What are they doing?
Question Author
clueless batting cloverjo quite pathetic performance especially after beating south africa the other day!
I think I'd better get up and watch. I hope it's not worse before I get to the tv.
Question Author
lol you better hurry
Question Author
86-7 terrible
Dreary me - dire performance
Oops deary (or perhaps dreary describes me better)
they've crept up to a score that might be defendable
Question Author
how on earth we got to 142 i dont know!!
Not over until both sides have batted. We said the same about England's bowling against South Africa (and it was pretty dire, to be fair), but that turned out OK in the end...
first ball was ominous but now a wicket!!!
Question Author
a good start
And another down.

Long way to go in the match yet. England can be as rubbish as they like, though. So long as they are better than the other team still it doesn't matter.
Afghanistan limp to 20-3 off 5 overs. Much better bowling display from England so far.
Question Author
agreed
40-5 off 9 overs now... there, nothing to worry about after all.
Question Author
YET!!
I think we're ok now. [while touching lots of wood, as if that helps]
83 needed off the last eight overs, so I suppose it's still doable for Afghanistan. Decent from Plunkett though, 12 off his four overs.
