Why do the fans wear norwich scarves? surely when they were dominating in the 90's and the glazers were not around they played in red?

Also why is one of the world's biggest teams so dependent on one player?

Why did fergie pay 30 mill for berbatov yet plays instead a a player with one decent ankle?

What is the point of Michael Carrick?

What did fergie mean when he said "typical germans" when ribery who led the rafael protests is actually french?

The Green & Gold colours represent the original colours of the club when it was Newton Heath. The supporters chose the colours as they are so distinct from the clubs usual home or away colours. Its being used as a very visual way so the Glazer owners can see the feeling the fans hold towards them of their ownership & handling of the clubs finances.
The green scarfs are a bit idiotic if you ask me they show how thick and easily manipulated some fans are.
Do they want Man U to be a sporting club again like Newton Heath with semi pro players?
Thought not.
Then if you are a business in the biggest league in the world, swimming with the sharks you may have to get in bed with someone like the Glazers or a Sheik or two. So stop complaining.
I am amazed that fans don't see the obvious - the reason why most clubs are struggling financially and the reason you pay ridiculous amounts to follow your team, is not the choice of owner.
It's because of the players wages bill. Until that is addressed football will get more and more like a USA baseball series.
nice to see you back alex...
I'm somewhat puzzeld here frankie who's doing the manipulating?

The protest against the Glazers is because the most solvent profit producing sports club in the world is £750m in debt, which in turn affects what and what not, the club can do. Far from being manipulated its a very good and savvy way of launching a protest to try and protect the club they love.

Don't forget that when the Glazers "bought" the club a number of fans formed United of Manchester in protest.

They didn't need a shiek they make millions as they stand but the Glazers could bring them to thier knees.
