also we could look at the foundations for western and eastern civilization.
Excuse the cynicism, but rather than 'just interested' I get the feeling from all of these very carefully worded questions you're 'just getting us to do an assignment for you'.

Am I being unfair?
Question Author
no not unfair though i don't think i would want anybody to do an assignment for me i think maybe i would look at different perspectives on a site like ab.
well it (faith) gives something for people to hold on to, something to believe this life is not for nothing (afterlife, heaven etc).
Question Author
So therefore the logic in faith is/could be: we all have faith even if we 'don't' believe in religion/non religion, even if we don't believe in anything (so to speak) we believe that we don't believe in anything, we have faith in our beliefs (ultimately). At the very least we 'think' that we have faith in our beliefs: of that which you can be certain. (another minefield!)

Also i am aware of philosophical doubt (and taking it too far!) do most areas'arts/sci religion/non' (need to be) get dissected/analysed through philosophical reasoning?(obv. taking into account the reasonable/possible limitations that 'this method' could produce and making allowances for this )
Your questions and responses are full of psycho-babble.
Why do you find it difficult to make a straightforward statement without parenthesis or circular and convoluted reasoning ?

I believe that most of the ABers responding ought to be invited to your graduation ceremony as thanks for their input into completing your assignments.
Question Author
because really we are looking at the issue of religion/ spirituality and if you look at the history of both religion and non you could argue for and against the use of 'psycho-babble' again in varying degrees and contexts (whilst remaining impartial) and also look at/study the 'psycho babble' of internet communication in 'this age.'

apologies for the parenthesis, if that is the case. obv again context dependant.

and nobody has helped me in any way to complete any assignments, seriously!
In that case start making posts that don't highlight your erudition ...........that way you'll get real responses rather than putting people off who may have been inclined to answer you.

Question Author
