Hi everyone - with 11 days to the start of the new season in the Premier League, I've taken the liberty of restarting our AnswerBank League at Sky Sports -

As last season, we're given £100m to spend per team & have unlimited transfers until the Match Day deadline on Friday, 11th August. From then on you get 5 per Game Week, with a maximum of 50 for the season. They've kept the "Overhaul" feature, when *unlimited* transfers will be available, *not* coming out of the 50 per season allowance - this is always quite handy! This season though (from what I can tell at the moment) it'll only be available once - Game Week 22 (?) in January. I'll add more info as it becomes available.

Hopefully all our regulars will enter a couple of teams each. If you've not joined in before & fancy having a go this season, don't worry if you know *nothing* about football - you can use the option to have a team selected at random.
When you've picked a team (or two) - yourself, or used automatic selection, name your team(s), then join the League - ours is called "AnswerBank" & the PIN you need to enter is -

You can then change the visibility of your team(s) between "Public" & "Private", depending on whether or not you want other Managers to be able to see who you've picked. When your team is created, click your "Team Name" button above the pitch, then click the switch from "Public" to "Private".
A note here - just because I'm called the League "Chairman" doesn't mean I'm given special powers. I can't see "Private" teams & I get no other privileges.

Ok, I think that's covered everything needed to get the League going – I’ll post reminders every now & again, more often as the opening day nears & then for each Game Week.

The first part you mention is your own login procedure for the site. You then pick a team or two & when you name them, it *should* ask if you want to join a League & that's where the info in the OP comes in.
If that's not right for some reason, come back & someone (maybe Arky, he's good at this) will try to help further :-)

First you have to register with Fantasy football, click on register.
To the right it will say 'New to Fantasy football'
Click on create an account
New window will appear asking for your name, suggest AB name.
For, eg 'Moorea' for last name ABer. Next
D.O.B 18 over's only. Next, Address , next EMail, next Phone no.
Next is *User name, again suggest AB name 6-12 Characters or numbers.
Your personal security Q's. Mums maiden name, then car, pet etc.

Next is to select your team you can pick Auto select computer will choose your team you can change at any time without using any transfers before the first KO next Friday.
Click next now, choose a team name and select Man United if you don't support any other club you'll automatically entered into that league.
Now you can enter a second team if you wish.
Joining AB league:
Click on Leagues. then join+ Then in enter pin box 2546257
Click Search, will find AnswerBank click on your team Join League.
Thats it any problems I'm sure someone will help, and last years winner of our league was a Female player btw we have a few join us good luck.

You're welcome no problem, I went through it again step by step as I typed just not submitted into the league as a ghost player.
Additional info for all. if you want your team to be private so other players in our league can't see the players you've selected:
In 'My team' page to the right of your Team name is a notepad and pencil icon. Click on that you can change from public to private, you can also change your team name if not happy with it.
Personally I prefer folk not to do this halfway through the league though.
Moorea I think you must be pending as I can't see you in our league as yet. Maybe midnight or something I can't remember.
As for being at the bottom of the league that is specially reserved for the Ab Editor's if they join us again ;-)
