Ok, without any mud-slinging back and forth, just how deep rooted are the problems at Man Utd? Weak squad (which Fergie could see coming), players wanting to leave (Rooney, Van Persie, Vidic), teams not scared of attacking at Old Trafford, Old Red Nose at every game can't help, and Moyes has now lost the plot stating that they are having to 'play against the referees' as well. Just how bad will things get? Interested to hear from any SERIOUS Man Utd fans.

I can see years of problems at Old Trafford if things continue as they are. I believe the owners of the club are paying back 70-odd million a year in interest, meaning they cannot afford the superstar signings in the way Man City, Chelsea etc can. If United miss out on Champions League football next season, as seems likely, top stars will steer away from going...

Three problems as I see it.
1) The clubs by far and away two best players are out injured at this time.
2) Several in the squad are just not good enough.
3) Probably the most serious, the players having been used to playing in their previous style have not ,as yet, taken on board the way David Moyes and his coaching staff want them to play.

Love this thread call them Manure or say a negative thing about the team and you are serious contributor but give a few true facts and you are just picking on the Arseinall fan.

What a difference a few months make wonder if they still want him to go.

Harpy, you don't have to be negative to be serious. I'm still waiting for any positives or way forward from Utd fans. As for 'true facts', that's fine if they are actually connected to the subject, rather than pointless tit for tat digs. Some people just don't get it. As for your last post, yes, some people do still want him out.
According to Allan Shearer Moyes did a fantastic (his favourite word) job at Everton. Er Just What did he win ??? Nothing.
Dave, please feel free to carry on with your tiresome, petty, childish and insulting remarks. There may be some substance to your opinion, but the boorish way in which you express your opinion beggars belief and renders any "serious discussion" impossible.
Question Author
In that case Sipowicz, don't contribute to the thread. Simple as that.
And let your boorish behaviour go unchallenged? I don't think so!
Question Author
'Boorish'? Just stating the facts and asking for opinions, not yours though, as you seem unable to without resorting to insults. If this thread is that bad to you, then leave it alone. Please. You haven't contributed anything of any worth.
"Manure loving mafia; Bitter twisted fools raise their ugly heads; Idiots; Worthless; Nit picking fools: You call that "just stating the facts and asking for opinions"? I think boorish describes that. You just don't get it do you? It's not your views I object to, just your way of expressing them! I await your latest insult with baited breath.
Question Author
Sipowicz, you're really not contributing anything here. The thread took a turn for the worse as soon as you joined in if you take a look back. Why don't you just leave it alone if you really object that much.
please feel free to post on the very serious discussion above -)

DrFilth, it was going along quite seriously until hijacked by certain people.

Dave, take your own advice, re-read the thread, all the insults came from you! As for leaving the thread, as stated previously, I couldn't let your boorish behaviour go unchallenged. (Isn't about this time you chime in with your "I'm bored now, best to end this"?)
Question Author
Think I might just do that. Have a look at Berniecuddles Man Utd jokes thread, it might do you good. And he's a Man Utd fan (but one with a sense of humour, unlike some on here!)
A bit of light relief: Moyes is among the nominees for the Barclays Premier League manager of the month award for December http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25670678 - is it April already?
// The problem with Manure fans is... they won't accept the fact that they are in the toilet //

We are in exactly the same position as Arsenal were at this stage of the season last year. That is not in the toilet, but neither is it where they would want to be either.
