Afternoon,

I wonder what should be worn for an international football match by spectators?

I don't really do football, but I am in attendance for a friend and would prefer not to get beaten up, jeered at or make my friends look silly.

How do I get camouflaged for the event?

Maybe you should go and make jewellery with the women of the tribe by the river.

Well, I should remove the hat, Ed....and let us know whether you are male or female.....or you could get some odd suggestions.....x

You should wear a referee's outfit, and a Sepp Blatter mask, and you'll be fine.

Ed: don't wear your cycling shorts.

an evening gown with a pink feather boa, just for fun
Just a smile Ab Editor. Dazzle them all then they won't notice what you are wearing.
^^ I'm staying off that one dave, I don't think suggesting "oi lard@rse, pack in stuffing yer gob and run about a bit more" is in the spirit of things really ;)

"Just go casual, what you would wear to the pub will be fine."

This seems to be the consensus - and "a jumper". Everyone has said "a jumper".

I shouldn't care really - but my impression of football is it is a bit like prison where you're allowed out after 90 minutes.

But unlike prison you will not get out early for good behaviour, and it may, just may, go into extra time!

Very good Grasscarp :)

I think it will be entertaining Trigger, I quite like watching a little bit of football when the world cup is on, but usually from the safety of a pub!
Dress as you would if you were going to Ascot races. But don't take the top hat as it would obstruct the view of the people in the seats behind you.

The peasants behind me will have the "deal with it" as the kids say.
My advice was well intentioned and based on bitter experience. When I wore mine I found it made me a target for half eaten pies thrown from the back of the stand.
How about a Burka.
