Tiffany sang that song, 87 or 88 I think.
Yep. Tiffany sang that in 1987 and Tommy James & The Shondells sang it in 1967

Tiffany
..or the Rubinoos 1977\78
Tiffany, I don't know why I know that but I do...lol..
What is really scarey is that the shopping mall diva has an 'extended version' of that song, AND a 'greatest hits' album!
No, TexxMutt: What's REALLY scarey is the fact that I've still got the extended version on a 12" single that I bought when I was young!!
Lene Lovich. The best version going
I think its Belinda Carlisle
deffinitley Tiffany (Tiffany Darwisch). I still have the LP and the video :D (i know, i'm lost in the 80s)
It was definitely Tiffany, she also released a version of The Beatles I Saw Her Standing There, when her 'music career' went tits up she resorted to getting her tits out for Playboy etc.

It was originally by Tommy James & The Shondells in the 60's I think.
Tifanny redid the song in 1985, but here is an interesting twist...  A group that called themselves Rubinoos re-did the song in 1977.  There is a (more) rock version of the song came out in between Rubinoos and Tiffany.  If you know who it was I ask that you share the wealth, cause I sure can't find it...
