And another example of this, albeit in a different form,

I'd be the first to defend anyone for the right to have and express their own views, but this man earns his living in England, and many Catholics from Northern Ireland fought in a war that was to oppose fascism, not prove how British you were. An ignorant young man.
Its not funny and its not clever, but neither is it Remembrance Day today.

11am on the 11th is the appropriate time and not before sporting events on the day before. Why do they do this?
I don't think 2 mins silence is too much for anyone to honour, even if it is a day early.

Presumably because there are no games tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. and, as the nearest public gathering to that time of remembrance, they deem it a suitable time to honour the fallen. It has been happening for a few years now.

I don't want to get into stereotyping beejay, but it was disappointing.
The Leicester City and Nottingham Forest fans were brilliant and you could have heard a pin drop while the Last Post was played at the start of the game. It was amazing. Well done all of you.
has the club issued a statement against the ''hecklers''

A shame really as it was a well deserved Reds win. Surely we should be talking about that?

Dave.
Duncer -Boyces goal celebration was a bit''odd''-even for him
webbo-you are nearer the truth than you may think
Question Author
webbo, in fairness to Clim'ville, all IL clubs post similar statements, and we all fall down at times, although you do provoke the question, "Are IL clubs paying lip service to these aims?"

First one quite strange too beejay - he fell over as if shot, as did his team mates, or am I reading too much into it? Sometimes I am so glad I got out of Northern Ireland, much as I love the place.
that was caldwells goal and he did ''drop dead'' in front of the bluemen--am with you now on that one Duncer
Will there ever be peace and harmony in Ireland.
