What a treat that was! They played well, a gap or two in defence (as usual) Great to have Villa back and scoring, Pedro played much better than he did last season and Puyol back scoring the first goal of this campaign - first leg of the supercopa on Thursday against Madrid - should be good

Looking sharp and ready. I think that choosing to stay in Europe pre-season has helped.
Not sure how pleased Tito and Jose would have been about the full Spanish squad playing a friendly this past Tuesday.

I think staying close to home was the wise thing to do, I just wish they had come to Scotland like they used to I could have done with a nice game at Murrayfield where I saw them play Hibs the last time they were over here - missed them the year they played Hearts. At any rate that's my weekends all sewn up until next May!
