Suarez and Liverpool FC had the opportunity to finally draw the line under this sad affair and they flunked it. Footballers are not particularly bright, and Mr Suarez seems particularly dim. So you can kind of dismiss Suarez as just another stupid footballer. It is Kenny Dalglish who I am most disappointed in. He should know better. Suarez makes him look like a fool and Daglish.

I think the American owners will get involved this week. Their asset is seeing its worldwide brand tarnished. The hard earned reputation of the club built during the 80s is being trashed by one player who is expendable. And Kenny should watch his own Yabbie, as he in danger of losing all credibility.
