Farewell to the Ginger-Ninja........
65 seems about right.........he has aged a lot since last Saturdays Champions League Final
Question Author
JTH - I prefered Ginger Genie
That, too...

Cannot wait for his testimonial - I wont miss that one
Apparently, he's the only player never to have faced 'The Hair-dryer' treatment from his manager.......:o)

100% commitment to 1 club is a rare commodity in itself....
Question Author
End of an era really
Spooky or what! well we did know that is was on the cards didn't we. A sad day indeed but his testimonial when organised will be great. and a massive turnout I'm sure.

This season we have said goodbye to Gary Neville, Edwin Van Der Sar and now Paul Scholes
All the very best in their respective positions.
Thank you for your service and good luck in the next stages of your life
Love him but I think he's picked the right time to go............
fair play to Paul Scholes, he has been a cracking player throughout the Prem's history, if he could tackle he could have been up there with the very best. Utd will struggle to replace him!
I'm not one for choosing favourites but Scholsey has been mine for a long time, even with his reckless challenges and above his more fashionable team-mates, there has been plenty.

Still a golden nugget, all the best to him and his new adventures, I agree though the time is right for him to step down.
Good whole hearted player who gave his all for club & country. England certainly missed his goals but I`m sure utd will survive without his services.
good riddance to the manc pudding. how many red cards did he collect?
90 yellows, and surprisingly only 4 red cards!!
I always found it irritating when after hacking some poor forward to the ground all that would be said its only scholesy he never has learned to tackle...well he was a highly paid professional footballer and tackling is part of the game...how would you feel if your dentist botched up your root canal...oh well its only mr Jones...he's never learnt how to do fillings...
^^^ don't be a piggy!
Sorry to see him go, he got on with his game quietly without all the hoo ha that Rooney Diggs and co. have done.
sorryry rowan - my comment was to fellow Baggies fan, piggynose
How can anyone possibly compare the fine art of football to the brutality that is dentistry.
get a grip!
