Pop ups.

While surfing this site I ve just had pop up advert for hardcore porn. not good, seeing as I'm surfing from work. What is going on with "Theanswerbank" This has never happened before and Im totally pi$$ed about it. AB editor answers please.

This hasn't happened to me at work (must be the firewall or something) but I get loads of hardcore porn stuff at home - much to my mum's dismay! Try clearing the cookies on your computer or failing that download the google toolbar which blocks pop ups.

It happened to me but it generally only hapens when I have a virus - I have just got rid of VX2 after having it for over a month and whatever site I went on I got porn! I don't think it is this site in particular

I think viruses and trojans are an occupational hazzard of surfing these days, and in now way connected to where or when you surf as an individual. Get yourself some virus software installed, and a good firewall.

I've got the google toolbar but it is set to allow pop-ups on this site because the way the site is set up it can be difficult to set and answer questions with it on.Saying that I've never had a pop-up of any kind.
