They cannot get away with that, if the Brits can't get away with being European!
I think our 'harvest festivals' are on about the same time, caveman..or maybe a month before?

I don't think that is celebrated outside of the church anymore, but I remember being involved in the harvest festival at school. We used to bring in packets and tins for the needy.
Still goes on in our local schools, with the food being distributed locally to the aged villagers.
I just found out I missed it.

And the food went to Shelter. Oh well :o(
