Has any cat slave on AB ever managed to get a sweater on their masters?

My 16 year old Bollinger is constantly cold so have started knitting a jumper for her - just wondering if anyone has ever done anything similar?
Obviously in an ideal world I would leave the heating on for her but given the price of oil at the moment that is not really an option!

I've seen cats in jumpers but never the tricky bit before - where blood flows and cats howl.

I saw a FB post about a cat who had gone out with his jumper on and it was missing when he got back home. They are crafty little angels.

I thought you might see this lol
I will take a photo once I have finished knitting it should be a day or 2!
Vets make it look so easy, don't they?

My daughters partner wanted to get one for theirs...we talked him out of it.
She doesn't even like being picked up...y

Well Bolly spent 2 months in a compression garment a few years ago so hopefully she will be OK
We will want pictures :)
I went to find a video to show you how, but I got side-tracked with other cat videos.

Pasta - I will get a photo on as soon as its done
Not jumpers but one of our cat licks his tummy a lot and makes it very sore. I had the bright idea of putting him in a sort of babygro as he hated the cone of shame. It took two of us and ten minutes to get babygro on and him two minutes to get it off outside and lose it.
I wouldn't even consider it for one of mine. She's a psycho.

If they get cold, they just snuggle each other.

I am, however, going to be getting harnesses soon to introduce them to outside. Mr BM just shakes his head in despair.
Question Author
I have done the harness thing BM, did it with Bolly and Tatty when they were babies - you need to do it sooner rather than later.
I also used to have an Egyptian Mau as a child that was harnessed trained - she would travel in the car between Norfolk and Scotland no basket just sit on our knees with her harness and lead on.

She does snuggle into Piper H - but she tends to wake up in the middle of the day or night is cold and then starts holloring!
At 2am that is not funny so I am hoping that the jumper will stop that.
I cant do it until they have both been jabbed and the earliest the vet can do is the end of this month (I was expecting to be able to get an appointment within a few days, but apparently the vets are overworked). They wont be going out unsupervised until they have both been "fixed" because frankly, two kittens is quite enough.
roopower - they are escape artists, wonder if he shredded the outfit first of just fought it off.
I've only just seen Roopower's post. Made me laugh out loud. Little terror.
Question Author
Lol Roo that is so funny.

One of our original girls 'Rubbish' would lose her magnet to the cat flap all the time on average 1 a week and these things used to cost £3 a time!
There would've been much bloodshed had I tried that with Tigger! Blue might've been a bit more easy going but still.

When I was around 10 I tried to give my ginger tom,Tibby, a bath. I've still got the scars up my arms. What the hell was I thinking!
I have no idea how Buster got his onesie off but he probably buried it somewhere. One of our other cats hated a collar and he 'lost' several before we gave up. One of the neighbours must have had quite a collection. They were the type that snapped open if snagged and were no match for Bracken!
We did try Bracken and his sister with harnesses but they were an unmitigated failure. They both just lay down and refused to move. We have a local chap who regularly walks his bengal cats on retractable leads and they seem very happy. They have a really good nosy round but it is funny when they shoot off in opposite directions.
