Today's Text Scam...they Didn't Check The Date

I'm not expecting a parcel
Our posties always attempt to leave with a neighbour first
If no neighbour, a redelivery card is put through the door
Finally....it's GOOD FRIDAY, and there are NO deliveries

The 'post office' never deliver on any day, Pasta. It's Royal Mail (which is now separate from Post Office Ltd) who do deliveries. So the scammers obviously aren't too bright ;-)

[BTW: Royal Mail DO deliver on Good Friday - but only in Scotland].

My text scam was
You've go t a new v oicemail from your boss
buharla.de/sxl (loads more letters and symbols)
I knew it was dodgy, the typos were ridiculous and I don't have a boss :)
I couldn't screenshot it, they are so clever so I took a pic of it with my tablet

I found a begging letter type email and an email awarding us millions in the Junk folder on our Oxfam computer this morning.

They were both so obviously fake, badly worded and so far fetched that they couldn't be true.

The scammers have no pride in their work ☺☺

One morning I got a phone call very early in the day (my brain doesn't wake up until lunchtime) and I nearly fell for it and almost gave them access to my computer. You're right, it could happen to any of us.

It even happens to scambaiters eg. Jim Browning lost his YouTube account - but he did get it back.
