There is nothing I like about Christmas - bar humbugs...

Especially the golden ones.
I have never in my life had enough of Christmas, 237...until now. I agree. If I could sleep until the end of December I think I would....well except for the match between Mayo and Dublin!.
what Christmas? I'm hardly aware of it. I haven't seen any Christmas lights, scarcely been to shops, haven't seen friends or family (though I hope to on the 25th), don't switch on Christmassy programmes on TV or radio ... It's really easy to avoid if you want to, and this year easier than ever.

The only reminder is cards from people I haven't heard from for a while, and in a plague year that's rather reassuring (though I know at least one has died).
I've not even heard this yet - so it can't really be too much ...

nope. I do christmas my way in my time.
Christmas adverts since beginning of November. Houses decorated from the end of November, who wouldn't be sick of it? It starts too early in my opinion.
I'm with jno, I have avoided all the Christmas trappings, no lights, no tree, nothing, I am carrying on as 'normal' this year, I have dismissed Christmas, not the good things like giving to others and all that but I'm just treating it as any other Friday
Ducksie is carrying on as normal....beware folk!
Whisht ;) all will be well when I get the jab ;)
cashier, Sky designated one of their TV channels "Sky Christmas" last month. But Sony set up a "Sony Christmas" channel in September, for funicular's sake. I haven't watched either of them.

SD - I saw George Micheal at Wembley Arena one time before Christmas . I think it was 2007 or 2008 as my Dad had recently died. He sang Last Christmas. It was magical and I will never forget it.
Well, I'm looking forwards to my roast pork, sprouts, roast potatoes, carrot and swede mash, stuffing and pigs in blankets next Friday.

Followed by syrup sponge pudding. Lovely!
Syrup sponge.....

And custard!
Yes!
Lovely!
and then for the main course?
My friend (from my bubble family) is dropping in my dinner next Friday as I am thinking past Friday (so are my bubble family) and don't want to be in ICU in the new year for the sake of a dinner, but we will exchange pressies, and I have received beautiful wrapped gifts from my sisters in UK and cards etc., but the house is not decked with all the holly and all that, when I step outdoors - there's enough lighting and all that garb to keep me going but not seeing family face to face or good friends and missing the hugs etc, Christmas can wait, in that respect

Did anyone watch Christmas at the Plaza on TV recently? Or Christmas at Hampton Court Palace? I watched both and really enjoyed them.
I watched christmas at the plaza...sad ending.
Christmas schmistmas, same as every year.
