Just tried them, hope to God the clothes don't come out looking as if they are all creased :-)))
When the air is put back in, are the clothes 'normal'?

having read some of your fashion tips, i doubt they'd be normal for many of us.

:o]
well it will keep them fresh :)
I've known a few bags in my time that look as thought they've well and truly had the air sucked out of them.

my fashion tips???? do tell Ankou, I am curious..lol

and wrinkled Dr..:-)
No idea, i just pack clothes in bag, if they are creased when you take them hang up in shower bathroom room, run water for a bit, get steam going, most though not all, the creases drop out.

ROTFL@mike
take them out of bag......
If your body is wrinkled then no matter how you store your clothes , they will always look wrinkled.
Question Author
they are air-tight now em, Gawd knows what they will be like...haha
Question Author
Teddy, not a crease anywhere in this skin :-)
I always use them when coming back from England, then I can get more in the suitcase, it still weighs the same though.
Question Author
yes, just weighed it Neti, actually there's not many clothes gone in :-)
a KS quilt, a clock, Brillo pads, pillow protectors...!
Don't put the cat in there - they don't like it :-)
Bobbi you cannot put a clock in one and suck the air out, it will crack and distort the clock!
I'm really sorry Bobbi, but I read the title to your question and burst out laughing. I am obviously in a puerile mood.

(I saw these bags advertised on the shopping channel at about 4am one morning though, they look pretty good!)
Question Author
haha BM,

no Neti clock is in bubble wrap, it's one of those Terracotta ones for outside, shows the time and temp
Bobbi I am a sucker for trying out new ideas but.....firstly I bought the ones that suck out air with a vacuum cleaner, yesI got more in the case and they look fine when unpacked but the weight is the same and on my return I didnt have access to a vacuum cleaner to repack. So then I tried the ones that dont need a vac u just roll them [ probably from QVC where most of my good ideas and not so good ideas come from] and as fast as I tried to roll them the air just kept coming back in again, not wanting to waste them I now use the lot as ordinary large storage bags as when you put your winter duvet up in the loft for the summer.
mine was not a sucess story so good luck with yours.

Question Author
so far so good with them :-)
The bags just take all the air out and the clothes will compress and give more room, but they will wrinkle much the same as you would if someone sucked all the air out of you Bobbi.
Question Author
venator I was wondering why the cat was wanting out..LOL
