I went to one 3 years ago poodi - its the only one I have been to. At the time I compared it to the others I had attended. To be honest the only real difference was the lack of any religious referral. The songs chosen were no different to the ones played at many funerals now. The close family all made a contribution from husband to grandchildren and the core of the memorial was to celebrate her life. I would suggest that if you and your family choose this type of funeral none of you should have any qualms about it. Kindest wishes Viv
I went to my first(cousin's) a month ago and thought it very good. In fact as I'm not religious I think I'd have one now when I pass away>
