I'm gutted!!! :-(

Can anyone babysit for me within the next hour? I might be a while but you know you'd be doing something spectacular for me.

As some of you know, im a Liverpool fan! Never been to Anfield to see them play, in fact never been fortunate enough to see them play at all. :-( Bit of a dream of mine to do so.

At 8.30 this morning my son rang me to ask me if i wanted to go with him today as there is a spare ticket!!!!!!!!
Arghhhhhhhhhhh

Im so frustrated cause i really really wanna go and can't because i have no one to look after my 4 year old son!
Ya know how it is when something you really really want is there, its in sight but just out of reach!!!

Offer me some consolation please and nothing Anti Liverpool if ya don't mind ;-)

hi Doc, why indeed! I guess i'll be much happier staying here all day watching cbeebies, doing jigsaw puzzles, cooking washing and ironing.

:-(
You would be better off going to the new museum in Liverpool.

I am told they only have two exhibits.

A pair of overalls and a wage packet.
How can you tell I am not a footie fan.
Omg Julie, you have all my symphathy!! Is there really no one to babysit at all??? You have to go through every single person you know and find someone to leave your son with!! You do not wanna miss this chance. Anfield is the BEST !! And if you don't go then you know it's gonna be the best game ever just to make thing's worse, when the same thing happened to me and I didn't go Carragher ended up scoring - Not something you wanna miss.

FIND A BABYSITTER!!!

hi beejay and misty,
sadly there is not a chance, its a long day to expect someone to have him and with travel time, id have to leave here within the next hour. Too short notice :-(

The bloke who got my son his ticket should be able to get another one at sometime in the future and i have asked that my name is on one so at least id have some time to sort a sitter out . Just hate knowing i COULD go and can't!
Thank you for the offer of the egg last night . But keep the money and have a drink on me when Liverpool win.
I'll do it Jules :-))
Oh I am sorry julie, it is the worst luck. If it was me I'd just leave the kid and go anyway, but this might be why I don't have children lol And like you said there will be other times eh!

If it makes you feel any better at all, then I am really hungover. I've gotta go into town and do some quick fire shopping before work, and I just got make-up on my white top and white cream on my last clean pair of jeans!!! Gonna be one of them days........
Julie at the very wose you'll be able to go in the near future
A few of my mates are over today for the match- Anfield Road end
Is he small enough to hide in a back pack jules , or can you get hold of a ticket , then you can all go . Goes without saying though hun that if I was near you , the lttle one would be welcome :-) xxxxxx
Question Author
joby, dont ! I might just get on that train and hunt ya down ;-)

lol misty, perhaps best for the time being you dont have the kids ;-) cant say the thought didnt cross my mind though ;-) hehe
sorry your day isnt getting off to a good start. mines worse though:-) lol
Aw jules, what a shame,i would offer but there`d be no point. For one thing i`m in Worcs, not a million miles away but the opposite direction to Liverpool, and for another,i know you wouldnt leave your son with a stranger(i know im a cyber friend). If you dont get to go this seaso, maybe you could go to a pre season friendly, the tickets are easier to get.
Question Author
