The vicar would probably know.
Well done octatvius, that's just what I was going to say
What I mean familydealz, is that some vicars do and some vicars don't. But it is of course possible to have a christening on a Saturday. It just depends on whether a particular vicar does or not.
I'm godmother at a christening which is on a Saturday so yes it is possible, however, I thought all christenings took place on Sunday's so I was surprised it was on a Saturday.
i don't see why it would make a difference to what day it was on, i'm sure you can
In my experience most of the Catholic churches hold mass (group) christenings on every other Saturday. I have heard a private christening in a Catholic church is cost prohibitive. (This is in NY)
Most Protestant churches here have them during regular Sunday service, unless the family requests a private one.

Since technically any Christian can baptize(like in an emergency), what difference does the day make?
