Well, I've just got back from doing a runner. I've broken all my toys. The pram has rolled off down the street and my cotton socks are in tatters from all the running.
Hello naomi (my loonie cult friend).
I would like to thank you for your kind words on the posts I've just read from yesterday. I did not mean any disrespect to you or anyone else. I do count you as a dear friend who is always willing to listen and give good advice(not only to me but everyone).
I feel I have made some great acquaintances on here: Wiz, Theland(M.I.A) and most recently Reina.
My initial decision to depart was as a direct result from the remarks given yesterday. Contrary to that chap's belief, I was not going off in a huff from being confronted or playing any sort of victim role for sympathy. I merely stated that, as I have before, being more concerned about how others portray you and not wishing to cause upset to others through my lack of knowledge about religion or any other subjects.
Continued..............
I started to question my own motives and questions and answers. I usually enjoy the many debates on R&S because even though my knowledge is inept, I am genuinely interested and curious about the subjects and the people behind their beliefs.
I have never been one to pass strong judgement on others wishes or views, thinking mine are better and I accept anyone's faith as personal to them, not goading or attacking them just for the sake of argument.
I am willing to listen to anybody's view or maybe a different approach to a well established subject.
Just like many conversations on here, over time they are repeated in one way or another. Just watch "Question Time" on T.V.
If everything was cut and dried, we'd never ask any questions or want answers.

Luna!!! You're back!! Oh I am soooo pleased. Don't worry about having broken all your toys - you can share mine - and we'll get you some new cotton socks too!!

I understand completely why you said you were going and I was genuinely really upset when I thought you had gone - but this morning I'm a very happy loonie!

Welcome home Luna!!
I feel like singing................Ding Ding Ding Went The Trolley.
What a wonderful tune that is !

Go on then - go for it. You and Judy Garland - what a team!!
Better not, I don't want to upset the birds singing in tune on my window sill.

How about whistling it then?
Oh No ! The last time I tried that a whale got confused and swam up the Thames.

Ha!

Hey, we could become a double act - you singing and me playing the comb! Cor, you don't see many groups like that these days, Pop Idol here we come!
You'll have to bring your own comb, I haven't got enough hair to need one. ( :0)

No problem - I can do that. How about the spoons? Can you play the spoons?
Yeah ! Hold on a minute I'll just wipe the porridge off them first.
Talking of porridge, my stomach's rumbling.
Time for some cereal I think.
I'll catch you later
Keep practicing the comb till I get back.

Luna, I really am sooo pleased you're back. This place wouldn't be the same without you, so don't ever do a runner again.

Must dash now - speak to you later. Enjoy your porridge. :o)
Glad you decided NOT to go, Luna.

I would have felt awful as you seemed to get caught up in a spat I appeared to have provoked.

Looking forwards to seeing your regular postings and songs.......
Thanks Jack.
