This is a bit hard to try and descirbe....
Years ago I lost all faith in religion (I was a Christian) after a series of events made me question my beliefs. I had not thought about it for the last 10 or so years, until recently.
I do not want to 'find' religion again but I do feel as if there is something lacking. How do you define Spirituailty and how do I gain it? Sorry if that is really vague, but I hope you get the gist of what I am asking.

I think you should check out society and culture then the little sub heading which reads 'religion and spirituality'
I myself couldn't answer because i am not a religious or spiritual person.

I consider myself a spiritual person. I was brought up religiously, I no longer live a church going life. However, I believe that there are my own gods. They are who I make my prayers and wishes known to. Not on bended knee or in front of an alter. Simply by living a good life and believing in karma. That my gods look after me. whoever and whatever they are is not important. It's the fact that they keep me in check. Much like jesus or allah or any other religions heads do.

I think it's a very healthy area to explore. Personally I don't believe there is a "right way" for anyone. As long as you live a good life and don't cause any harm then fundamentally you are being spiritual. Whether you catagorise it as such is your own decision. There's nothing to stop you from following the teachings of many of the worlds religions.

Good luck with it.

Fee_B77 - I find your answer pretty strange. There are a few debates going on over in Religion & Spirituality, a sub topic of Sciety & Culure which may interest you.
Hiya Theland

Strange or not it works for me. I was only offering an opinion, not trying to recruit. I'll have a lot at other people's points of view, nothing wrong with education. I have absolutely nothing to debate though. I don't follow any rules except that of karma.
Fee_B77 - Hello again, and I respect that you are not trying to recruit.
However, you could educate me.
Would you explain "Karma" to me?
I have some idea of what it means, but your opinion would be repectfully appreciated.
Hi again Theland

Basically I live by the rules "what goes around comes around". I live a good life. I don't cause anyone any harm. I respect life and am thankful for the good in my life.
spot on, fee.
