Manni - You said on another thread that you were a muslim, yet became disillusioned with Islam, and have been studying Christianity for the past six years.
As Islam is rarely out of the news these days, I would find your detailed views on both Islam and Christianity instructive, and would appreciate it if you took the time to enlighten us.
I'm sure your comments would trigger some interesting responses from other ABers.

Manni - Thanks for your prompt reply.
As a Christian myself, I am interested in debating, learning, and constructively criticising other religions where I think their beliefs are wrong. However, in order to do this, I may make a comment that could possibly be interpreted as a personal criticism, on the individual muslim, hindu, buddhist, Roman Catholic or whatever.
I would like to state categorically, that my intention is never to insult or upset any individual who holds a faith that is different to my own, even if I make critical comments on their religion.
That said, I am interested in the reasons that you became disillusioned with Islam, and having studied Christianity for six years, why have you not yet become a Christian?
Manni, be careful, there was a case not too long ago, where someone was killed for converting out of Islam.

Mani - Lonnie is right. Be careful.
I look forward to you posting again on here, and reading your testimony.
Hi Mani, sounds like you have an interesting story. What do you mean by the bad ways of your past?

Hi Mani,
At least you pulled yourself up, which says a lot for the type of person you are.
If Christianity is the religion for you, go for it, but remember, as in Islam, Judaism and other religions, there are lots of different sects, which i'm sure you've taken into account, just make sure you choose the right one for you.

I wish you all the best for the future.

Manni, thank you for being so candid, you have obviously turned yourself around which I found inspiring. Hope it all works out for you.

Just one question, a drug fueled attempt to break into WH Smiths, why there of all places? I dont wish to take away from your experiences but this did make me smile, weird how the mind works when it is under the influence!

Good luck

Hello Mani, your story makes very interesting reading. How was prison life?

Mani Hussain, I agree with Lonnie. Be careful about the type of church you join. I think you're very brave to tell us your story and I'm so pleased that you've turned your life around. Well done, and good luck to you.
Mani , more power to you my friend. Prison is not easy and it's even harder to do something about yourself once you leave. I'm really gladdened that you've found it in yourself to turn your life around.
