Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you that kill the prophets and stone those who are sent to you! How often have I longed to gather your children, as a hen gather her broo d under her wings, and you refused!
So be it! Your house will be left to you , Yes, I promise you , you shall no see me till the time comes when you say : "Blessings on him who comes in the name fo the Lord!"

What does it mean : So be it your house will be left to you.?
What does actually Jesus want to deliver?

My interpretation of this is it means Jesus will pay no more attention to Jerusalem until they accept him for who he is. While they ignore prophets and kill them, no more prophets will come.

My interpretation would be the same as mikeyp. This is same passage but from the NIV, which is much easier to understand.

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!

Look, your house is left to you desolate. I tell you, you will not see me again until you say "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord"

But I don't know why Jesus said " So be it ! Your house will be left to you (desolate).
What is this metaphor?

Again, my own thoughts mankak , so you will have to see whether you agree or not.

These particular verses are repeated in Matt 23 v 37 - 39. Jesus is having a go (which He did often!) at the burden of hair splitting religiosity the Pharisees and scribes are putting on the common folk whilst being total hypocrites themselves. It's all a sham and He hated it.

'Your house will be left to you desolate' - possibly Jesus prophesying the forthcoming destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple.

"Behold, your house is left unto you desolate" Luke 13: 35.

Jerusalem's house was the temple. Because of their rejection of Christ, after His many offers to them, the Lord Jesus is saying that the temple is left desolate, empty, like a wilderness to them.
(BTW Remember when the Lord had went to the temple and found it to be a house of merchandise and den of thieves)

With all of it's finery and decoration, and being the pride of the city, God's Glory had now left it forever.
Reminds us that we can do all the religious duites etc in the world but it is nothing and meaningless without Christ.

And of course, along the same lines as Cetti's comment, Christ had already forwarned of the temple's physical destruction, to come a number of years later.
