Who do you mean, Chris? Octavius? He tries.
:o)
One day this world may run out of water, it may run out of food, it will surely run out of oil, but it will never run out of nutters
Ladybirder..... and a very naughty charlatan too..
Naomi, yup, several billion of them by all accounts, and the RC church accounts prove it.
Just thought I'd give it a shot . . .

Jom, yes indeed!

Well done Mibs! Thank you. Why couldn't I do that? Perhaps best you don't tell me. :o/
Of course He would be also making a living out of bringing people back to life. And food wouldn't be a problem.
The first time someone was brought back to life it created all sorts of domestic and legal problems. Lazarus' house was occupied by his heir and he wouldn't give it back to him. His wife ran off with a camel herder and everywhere he went people pointed and shouted: 'undead!'
This nutter has been around for a while now, and his outlandish claim of being the big man himself seems to be the cause of his very small group followers. Dispelling some of long-believed bible teachings does not do much for his popularity either.
He used to have longer hair and did look more like the usual image of JC.
He loses all credibility when you learn that the wife of his children who he left the present MM for was also proclaimed to be Mary Magdalene, and so were several other 'casual partners' before.
Doesn't it beg the question though?

Assuming (and I know it's a massive leap of faith) that Jesus actually existed and was the son of God, if He did return to earth, would anyone believe Him and how could He 'prove' his divinity?
Proving his divinity would be so easy. Stop the misery in the world and everyone would worship him.
If 'He' is saddened by misdeeds then why does he allow it?
Cuckoo......
I still believe this one puts on a much more persuasive demonstration -

utter tripe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree!
Wildwood//Proving his divinity would be so easy. Stop the misery in the world and everyone would worship him.//
Actually when Jesus was on earth he did just that. He cured people, fed them, and even raised the dead. But did they worship him? No. They put him to death. It would be just the same today.

This man is obviously a charlatan.

Nowhere in the Bible does it say Jesus will come in the flesh. It refers to his invisible presence which is already here. Check out the signs in:
Matthew 24; Mark 13; Luke 21; 2 Tim 3 v 1 - 5; Revelation 17: v 9-11; Dniel 2 v 31 - 45;& Revelation 6 v 1 - 12.

Even a person with the most limited of intelligence will see that the events mentioned are taking place or have already taken place on earth since 1914 in particular.
No doubt many of you will remember from our school days the History teacher focusing on 1914 as a pivotal date, a date which ended the "golden years" and ushered in a new society. We have certainly seen that, speaking to people of my grandparents era say that the world has never been the same since.

That is just further evidence that the whole Jesus story is a myth. If anyone really could do the things claimed then powerful people would want him on their side.

That is certainly not supported by an objective measurements. You are simply seeing what you expect based on the prejudices indoctrinated by your religious upbringing.

The bible also tells of corpses rising from their graves and wandering about the city, but I don’t hear the religious lauding that truly momentous event which would have been witnessed, not just by a few, but by many. Can’t help thinking they don’t really believe it happened.
