Only interesting if they actually were atheists when they did it. I was a practicing communicand of the church of England for many years but no longer am...btw I am not an atheist though
What do you think that will tell us?
Why would it be interesting, and what would it tell us?

We are, and no we didn't.
I think it would be more interesting to cut athiests some slack!

It's just the pretty venue they want.

I would much rather a registry office wedding. Takes about 1/4 of the time.
alot of atheists get married in church - looks better in the photo album.
We are and we didn't either!

It would be just as interesting to know how many people who claim to be 'of faith'

got married in a Civil Ceremony
Yes Boold....but it's so so boring....
Not me, so 100% so far.

LazyGun, of course it's interesting to hear that an atheist who purports not to believe in God would get married in a Church which is symbolistic of Christianity.
Spoonboy, most threads on religion etc (that I have seen) are instigated by non-believers. Just recently there was one asking why there were no takers.
What if an atheist married a religious person?
Ahh. You still have not explained exactly why such information would be so interesting though.....
And you can think again about "most threads being started by non-believers". Goodlife is an industry in their own right. Takes the combined efforts of 5 non-believers to match their output alone.
Registry office.
I got married in a bar :o)
I got married in a registry office - but then it was a mixed marriage!
The first Mr Craft is an atheist so we married in a register office. He also refused to attend his daughter's christening, although I think he ate most of the buffet afterwards...............
My mum was a protestant and dad a Catholic. They got married in a Catholic church and she had to vow to bring any children up as Catholics!!
