Oh dear !.
this is hardly news, its just the Mire trying and failing epically (nothing new there)to dig up some dirt
If its legal whats the problem.....

If you were in the same position would you not be doing the utmost to reduce you tax bill

True Baz, but when Jimmy Carr tried to reduce his tax last year, in a scheme that was legal albeit a bit smelly, the Prime Minister said this of him:

"People work hard, they pay their taxes, they save up to go to one of his shows. They buy the tickets. He is taking the money from those tickets and he, as far as I can see, is putting all of that into some very dodgy tax avoiding schemes".

He was moving money to Jersey to avoid paying tax on it. What's the difference? You can't have one law for some and another for others.
Is the OP trying to say that Baronness Thatcher was trying to get something for 'free' or employing an unfair advantage over others?

Don't be silly ttfn - would I say that?
I trust not.

For, as you and I know, it doesn't always work like that. Does it?
Well, I still am.

I see it as a question of ethics.

I notice, with great irony, in these posts that you actually sound like a politician using many interesting words/phrases and begging for votes.
You even changed your hustings from CB to Q & P.

You either have ethics or do not. I believe Baronness Thatcher scored over you there, sir.prize.

QED
i was wondering if Sir P is Ken Livingstone in disguise, x
Looks like she isn't/wasn't the only one milking a system, eh?

My stefather, a miner of 37 years had more time for Thatcher than he ever did Scargill.
