No, it isn't - but he thinks it is.
I've never quite been able to grasp the concept of those who envision themselves as divinely appointed privileged spokespersons for a god conspicuously unwilling (or unable?) to speak for itself . . . messengers of messengers of rumours of unknown origin sporting a chip of cosmic proportions on their shoulder.
In common parlance Mibs he is a nutter.
I shall follow this hearing with interest.
The doctor in question has been disciplined by the GMC, who said essentially that it is unprofessional to evangelise during a medical consultation.

Coming from a practising doctor, if that is indeed, true, he is certainly not fit for office. In fact I go so far as to say he needs urgent psychiatric help.
