Can someone tell me if Asians ever go on holiday. I'm talking particularly about those from Pakistan or Bangladesh descent. They never seem to venture beyond their local area where they live to go on holiday or even for a day out anywhere. The only time they do go away is to visit relatives in their 'homeland'.

the family that run our local shop went to Dubai last year. It was the first holiday the owner Pat had had in 45 years and he hated it!

no, never in fact my mum refuses to go outside the borders of her village, as i'm only half asian i can vetnure to the nearest town but that it (oh and only if i have an escort)

surely visiting relatives is still a holiday?I saw plenty of asian families at Disney too
I would expect that they are governed by the same restrictions as all families, money, time etc. perhaps a visit to pakistand, India etc is a priority over a fotnight in Magaluf

Mine save all their money to send to India for g'dad to build them skyscrapers. When they do visit they only venture out to temple, in fear of locals mugging them and they have armed guards.
