I'm about to get married to an Okinawan woman that I love dearly and I love her daughter too, so I want to adopt her, but I don't know how. Any way to do that?

So you would be adopting the child in Japan. You would really need to get legal advice from a Japanese source in that case. I don't know if this will be any help to you
