Lump sum. What if you get the £50 K and drop dead?
I'd go for 50k a year.
Lump sum for me mercia as I might pop my clogs sooner than I think :-)
Lump sum and invest it wisely.....
salla if you dropped dead, you wouldn't need that money, so you might aswell go for the one that would get the most over many years.
At the present time the money would help me out a great deal - wouldn't need anywhere near £50,000 either!

It would be used wisely also, deposit for a house and uni fees and family helped.

haha, one all......lets see at the end hmm?
The voice of someone so young.....!

ACtually Molly, that's very grown up of you, cos I would imagine most 16 year olds would not think of the future, they'd just grab the whole lump sum, run and go mad with it.
Sorry forgot to mention yearly would do me fine lol
I.m thinking of my children molly..... what I can leave them.
50k a year woudl do it for me. no need to work anymore with that income and I would plan to live for more than 10 years so potentially a greater sum.
I'll take the yearly £50,000, that'd more than suit any needs in life I have... I only aim to be comfortable.
Yeah but they'd still get what was left over, spending 50k would be difficult so i'd probably save some anyway.
Believe me molly - it wouldn't take me long at all to get through £50 K. Oh no.....!!!!
Either sum is excessive for my simple tastes and life styles - just so long as Osborne doesn't increase the duty on my ciggies, brandy and petrol in the budgets to follow. Oh dear, I have talked myself out of that answer now.
I would use the 50k a year to live on and not officially work but invest my time and money into projects helping others I think - I oculdn't just spend my time spending money and nothing else =)
I'd put money on the fact that he will increase the duty on all of them ttfn...so get stocked up
I'd find it hard to spend all that. I find it hard to spend over £70 if I get that for birthday or christmas, thats why I set up a savings account.

I find it pointless spending lots of money on designer clothes that I'd only wear a couple of times. The most expensive clothes I have are, a dress that cost £35 I wore for a wedding, my birthday and the prom, then a nice floral top for £25 which is also a short dress which I've worn at least 20 times so far.
a year
thats why I said year molly, that gives me at least 10 to get the half, so should get more and as said once you're dead you're dead
