film of dust ... ash cloud ?

For the past couple of mornings, my car has been covered with a film of dust.

Is it from the ash cloud ???

Normally, my car only gets disgustingly dirty if I park it in London.

Is this a boom time for the little men who do car valeting ?

I'm surprised there was any room for the dust to land on it, surely it's covered in seagull crap?

Could well be JJ. My BF has been down on his yacht in Portsmouth since the weekend - yesterday he texted me to say when he woke up the boat was covered in white ash - he wasn;t best pleased as he'd spent the previous day polishing up his GRP.
Oh, such trials of life.... !

I went out to my car this morning to find a thick layer of dust and crap all over it. Then I realised that it's because I haven't cleaned the thing in weeks
