Can't even get the car off the drive let alone walk in a blizzard... Role on the summer!

I moved my car to the bottom of the hill before it gets any worse! that way at least I'll get my son to work, he says he's starting at 8 now!! I don't have to pick him up though so once i;m home i can stay in!!

They get walked 30 minutes in the morning at 6am (7am at the latest) and walked at night, every day. I'm sure 1 day won't kill them!

Just because I might not be walking them tonight doesn't mean they aren't allowed outside. My dogs bark when they want to go outside but in most cases they get let out before even needing to tell me. They are clean animals as well so I don't need to worry about them making a mess inside. If they have to they will hold for 8 hours.
i imagine the dogs will be sharing the loo then? do they know how to flush the loo? lol

Funny enough if they ever get ill they seem to 'deposite' in the downstairs toilet, which isn't a problem since the floor is concrete.

It would be handy if you could train dogs to use human toilets like you can cats!
Although we tried it with the cats and although they gt the idea, it didnt quite go to plan!

If you're not walking them you need to do an activity that they have to think about such as hide treats around the house and tell them to find them, play with a 'raggie' or similar toy, do some training (although if they need exercising it's not a good time to train). Remember you won't need to walk as far if there is snow lying on the ground as they will use more energy than normal but if it really is too bad to venture out don't be surprised if they drive you crackers all evening wanting you to play.
